Domestic landlords and owners can still take advantage of the HEEPS loan scheme.

A Home Energy Loan report comprises of two sections – an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) and an Occupancy Assessment.

In Scotland, domestic landlords and owners can take advantage of the HEEPS loan scheme which currently offers a 0% loan to pay for the install of the following measures:

  • LPG and oil boilers, warm air units and electric storage heaters
  • Solid wall insulation
  • Flat roof or room in roof insulation
  • Loft, cavity and underfloor insulation
  • Double glazing, secondary glazing and insulated doors
  • £5,000

  • £10,000
  • £4,000
  • £1,000
  • £4,500
