The Smith Emsley Partnership are amongst the best in their field in the provision of Green Deal Advice Reports and Energy Consultancy to domestic owner/occupiers as well as local councils and housing associations. The skill set ranges from Architecural Design, Building Surveying Services and Energy Consultancy. Their core skills and reputation has secured contracts working on behalf of the Scottish Government undertaking inspection work on installations under the Warmer Homes Scheme.
Bernadette established the Building Surveying firm in 2003 and Anne later joined as a trainee in 2005. Until 2010 the business focussed on design work, Planning & Building Warrant consents for domestic and commercial new builds/refurbishments as well as a large contract with Edinburgh City Council undertaking condition surveys. From around 2010 the business began to focus in the Energy Sector completing surveys around Scotland, including the Highland & Islands for those in fuel poverty. The company continues to inform and assist such clients as well as private owners, landlords and local authorities to reduce energy consumption, energy bills and achieve standards set within the housing industry.
Smith Emsley Partnership is also a Green Deal Assessor Organisation with a network of Green Deal Assessors around the country and this part of the business is set to grow further into 2017.
